30 Days of Prayer for Gilgal
Classes at the Gilgal schools will resume
Sept 14th. As the children start their new school year we are asking
you to join with us in committing to pray for them and the Gilgal work in
Canada and Nigeria for the next 30 days.
Each day we will provide a daily prayer
focus for the work (schedule below as well as daily posted on our Gilgal Facebook Community Page) that we may all join together in
lifting these requests before the Lord in a united voice. The Lord instructs us
in James 5:16 that we are to: “Confess
your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” This
passage continues on to remind us of the power of Elijah’s prayers. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are instructed to
“Be anxious for
nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God.”
We want to support the
Nigerian work this school year in prayer while trusting confidently in the Lord
to supply the current and future needs. Our
God is faithful, a father to the fatherless, the one who heals the sick,
restores sight to the blind and raises the dead. We know that no need is beyond
his capacity to supply!
